Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers - Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences - Check identification to verify legal drinking age - Maintain a clean and organized bar area - Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately - Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption - Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns promptly - Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food service for customers seated at the bar - Upsell food and beverage items to increase sales revenue - Assist with inventory management and restocking of bar supplies
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role in the hospitality industry - Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques - Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and cash handling - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively - Basic math skills for calculating bills, handling cash, and making change accurately - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Skills:
